Running a small business can feel far more personal than people realise.
When posts get little response, sales are slow, or nothing much seems to happen, it is very easy to start wondering if the problem is your work.
Very often, it is not.
I help makers understand what may really be going on, so they can stop second-guessing themselves, show up more clearly, and build a business that feels more manageable and more sustainable.

Everything I create here is designed to help you make better sense of your business, know what to do next, and move forward with more clarity.
You can start with the free guide, or explore the products and choose the one that feels most useful to you right now.

I’m a maker myself, and over the years I’ve run several of my own product-based businesses, selling mainly through my own websites and making over 6,000 sales on Etsy.
Alongside that, I have a background in organisational design, built over many years working in complex organisations.
After repeatedly running into the same problems in my own maker-based businesses, I decided to step back and look more closely at what was actually going on, using my organisational design background to help me make sense of it.
That work became the foundation of what I now share with other makers.
I help small business owners understand what may really be holding them back, see their business more clearly, and make better decisions about how they want it to grow.
Helping you stop second-guessing yourself and your work.
Helping the right people see what you make.
Helping you build a more sustainable business.
Helping you build a more sustainable business.
Helping you build a more sustainable business.

Here are some comments from our founding members about their work with us

I like that Barbara breaks things down into manageable chunks and really makes you think about your customer — rather than giving you generic advice.

I finished the workbook and got posts at the end. I've been playing with the prompts ever since — changing the customer profile, testing different niches. It amazes me what you get back with simple tweaks

I have social media accounts but I've never really posted because I don't know what to say. This is exactly what I needed.
